Horses and ponies at Somersby Equestrian Park are given the very best of care and attention. We feed the highest quality products, with the horses/ponies housed in five star paddocks and stables/shelters. As a rule our horses are given hard feed & hay twice daily, (this can be altered to meet individual dietary needs) rugging and flyveils removed daily and horses checked for any signs or illness or lameness. We manage the worming, veterinary and farrier requirements for your horse.

We have 4 different paddock types to offer, Grass Paddocks, Tree Paddocks, Creek Paddock or the Hill Paddock. All horses receive the following below:- PRYDE's range of extruded feeds
- On arrival a scientifically base diet designed by Prydes Equine Nutrition Specialist (optional)
- Horses can be stabled in the evenings for an additional $50 +GST/week
- Automatic water troughs fed by pure Somersby Spring water

- Riders use of bathrooms, equipped with showers, hair dryer, etc.
- Riders can use our kitchen, Coffee/ Tea and lounge facilities
Grass Paddocks - $210 + GST / week
- Pasture improved clover, rye and kikuyu based grasses, irrigated and highly maintained
- Two Prydes hard feeds with hay per day
- Rugs changed as owner requests
- Post and Rail super-safe fencing with electric stand offs
- One horse per paddock
- Huge safe paddock shelters, where horse is fed and rugs can be stored
Tree Paddocks - $185 + GST / week

- Open sided paddock shelter with feed bin and rug storage

Creek Paddock - $160 + GST / week

- Two large open shelters plenty of room for 4 horses to shelter

Hill Paddock - $150 + GST / week
- Two Prydes hard feeds per day with hay.

As experienced and successful showjumping riders we can offer rider / owners a long or short term campaign of your horse at various competitions.
This service may be used to give your animal valuable experience and confidence (on-going), or possibly a tuning mechanism before your major event. Whatever the reason or aim you can be assured of complete care and responsibility from our seasoned riders and stable staff.
This service is competitively priced to individual needs.
Equine Training and Services- Schooling of your horse by either Martin or Sophia Gostelow - $50 + GST
- General exercise of your horse by professional groom - $25 + GST
- Lunging 30 minutes - $25 + GST
- Breaking and starting young horses with Sophia Gostelow - $350 + GST / week
- Intensive Rider Coaching including accommodation - $400 + GST / week

- We can give your horse its daily medications, IV and IM change dressings and give daily grass picks on lead while your horse is recovering from operation or illness. $45 + GST per day include feed / hay and stabling.
